Welcome to the first addition of The Training Club’s newsletter! I’m thrilled to connect with you, share insights, updates and resources every month to make your use of or journey into using Artificial Intelligence a little easier and we can all benefit from the power of this technology!

Google, who are behind Generative AI chatbot Gemini, believe that generative AI is poised to transition from the experimental use that exploded in 2023, to real-world applications in health in 2024 and beyond. Highlighting the use of generative AI for reducing the administrative burden in healthcare, to support clinicians to find information more easily, and help organisations run more efficiently. The numbers in this article are mind-blowing! Specifically, they calculated that if generative AI could save the 28 million nurses worldwide 5 minutes per day, that would be 266 YEARS’ worth of time which could be better spent on patient care. My mind bogles at the amount of time we could save if we include all health and allied health professionals, not to mention the reduced time we could all spend on mundane tasks and more time we could spend on things we love doing- working with our clients! Essential Artificial Intelligence Tips

Did you know you can adjust the settings on ChatGPT to control your data?

1.      Go to your account (your initials in the circle).

2.      Click on “Settings."

3. Go to “Data Controls” and change the “Improve the model or everyone” to “Off.”

This will stop ChatGPT from using your data to improve the AI model and provide a greater level of protection for the data you input into the chatbot. Please note this does not mean it is 100% safe to put confidential or identifiable information into ChatGPT, so please still use strategies to reduce risk and avoid putting in confidential information.
